1. About This List
This page lists the third party service providers (subprocessors) that Network 1 Media Group Pty Ltd, trading as ActivityPulse, uses to deliver, support, and secure the ActivityPulse platform. We are committed to transparency about who handles data on our behalf.
We carefully vet each subprocessor for security, privacy, and compliance with the privacy laws applicable in the regions we operate in, including the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) in Australia. Where a subprocessor is located outside Australia, we have taken reasonable steps to ensure they handle personal information consistently with those standards, as required by APP 8.
Customer workforce monitoring data is hosted in the region you choose, with in-region hosting available for all customers through the infrastructure provider listed in Section 2. Aside from that hosting provider, the remaining subprocessors listed below are used only for limited supporting functions such as email delivery, web security, edge content delivery, and marketing website analytics. None of them hold the workforce monitoring database. Only email delivery carries monitoring content, limited to the alerts and scheduled reports a customer chooses to have sent.
Domestic Australian customers pay by direct bank transfer. Overseas customers pay through a payment service provider, used only to process billing and payment information. It does not have access to customer workforce monitoring data.
2. Application and Database Hosting
Customer portals and the databases that hold workforce monitoring data are hosted on Amazon Web Services, in the region you choose. We do not move your data to a different region without your instruction.
Amazon Web Services (Australia as standard, other Regions available)
Sydney region (ap-southeast-2) as standard, with other AWS Regions available for customers who require in-region hosting elsewhere. Customer portal application, customer databases, and file storage.
3. Email Delivery
Transactional and operational email (alerts, scheduled reports, password resets, account notifications) is delivered through email infrastructure in the customer’s chosen hosting region, Australian region as standard.
Microsoft 365
Regional tenancy matching the customer’s hosting region, Australian region as standard. Used for operational email delivery to customers and internal communication.
Amazon Web Services Simple Email Service (SES)
Customer’s chosen hosting region, Sydney region (ap-southeast-2) as standard. Used as a high volume delivery alternative for transactional notifications such as alerts and scheduled reports.
4. Security and Edge Network
Cloudflare, Inc. (Global, with Australian edge nodes)
Web application firewall (WAF), distributed denial of service (DDoS) protection, content delivery network (CDN), and TLS termination for activitypulse.com.au and the customer portal. Cloudflare’s global edge network serves each visitor’s traffic from the node nearest them, wherever they are. Cloudflare processes connection metadata (IP address, request headers, TLS handshake). Agent data is encrypted at the application layer with a per agent key before it is transmitted, so agent payloads are not readable by Cloudflare.
5. Website Analytics
Google Analytics (Marketing Website Only)
Anonymised website usage analytics for activitypulse.com.au only. Used to understand how visitors interact with our marketing website. Not used in the customer portal. No customer workforce monitoring data is processed by Google Analytics.
6. Components Operated In House and Supporting Infrastructure
All other components of the ActivityPulse service are operated in house by Network 1 Media Group Pty Ltd. This includes:
- Application code, build and release systems
- Error tracking and application monitoring
- Uptime and availability monitoring
- Backup storage, in the customer’s chosen hosting region
- Customer support ticketing and communication
- Customer billing and accounts records
- AI prompt sentiment analysis (pattern matching and algorithmic, performed on platform without external AI services)
Infrastructure logs, performance metrics, and operational metadata from all hosting regions are sent to a central logging, performance monitoring, and incident response platform hosted in Australia. This never includes customer workforce monitoring data or other core customer data, which remains in the customer’s chosen hosting region at all times.
This logging platform, our internal tools, and our public marketing website (activitypulse.com.au) run on Synergy Wholesale, an Australian hosting provider. None of this infrastructure holds customer workforce monitoring data or customer portal data, which is hosted separately on Amazon Web Services as described in Section 2.
7. What We Do Not Use
For full transparency, the following classes of subprocessor are not used by ActivityPulse:
- No third party AI or large language model providers (no OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI, Microsoft Copilot, or similar)
- No advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or marketing tracking beyond the website analytics described in Section 5
- No third party customer support chat platforms
- No offshore call centres or support teams
- No data brokers or analytics resellers
8. Changes to This List
We will update this page when we add, remove, or replace a subprocessor. Material changes will also be communicated to customers by email or through the customer portal.
If a customer objects to a new subprocessor for legitimate reasons relating to the protection of personal information, we will work with the customer to resolve the concern, including by providing alternative arrangements where reasonably practicable.
